Post Jam Version!
Hey everyone!
First of all I wanna give a huge thank you to everyone who played the jam version and left a comment with kind words and feedback! This is the first jam with more than 7 participants where I make it to 1# in any category, let alone fun, and I'm honestly still surprised!
I had a feeling midway through the jam that the game I was making was gonna be really fun, and I'm glad some of you agreed!
I had a lot of fun and learned a lot since the jam started! I try to do at least a little bit of game development every day, the more I can cram into the day, the better, and this jam kept me fully motivated throughout these last 3 weeks! So I wanna thank the community and the organizers for this!
Unfortunately, I had to rush the ending in the jam version because there was simply no time to add everything I had planned.
The updated version features
- A different ending
- Some more "juice"
- Saved progress (you can quit and come back later)
- More palettes
- A spanish language option (first time with localization, used csv, surprisingly seamless!)
- A log to view past messages, in case the player accidentally overlooks something
- A pause menu
- Lots of fixes regarding feedback I've been given in the submission page, I think I addressed every comment except for the lack of music, which is still largely (but not completely) true
- Probably some stuff I've forgotten
If you find a bug or dislike a new feature, please let me know!
